Sampler Update

Here's the plan I drew up for some trees, a fence, and a few pets to be added around a very bare house.

Plan- Sort of

I drew it up about a week and half ago, and here's how the sampler looked at that time:

Here's how it looks tonight. I still have to add the other half of the fence, and the flowers along the top of the fence on both sides:

The colors of the trees look duller here than they actually appear in person, I think.

I think the whole thing will look much better when I add those deeper colored flowers to the area right above the fence. We'll see!

Finally, our cat enjoying herself despite the photo taking that was going on around her. I love how cats can just relax, no matter what.

Thanks for visiting.

That sampler just keeps getting better and better! I love the new additions. Isn't it frustrating that the colors are never the same in a photo? But it sure looks wonderful from this side!

In my country sometimes the cats eat people.

    Thanks for your comments, everyone.

Chudi- Your country must be full of large cats since they can devour humans. Waving to you, Chudi! :)
Do humans there have good appetites, too?

Very nice layout, the trees accent the house so nicely and I love the animals. Your neighborhood is looking lovely.

Hi, Sue, this is Cyndi from Forest Falls, who is in SoCal Stitchers, too. You're the closest "neighbor" I've found so far! I just found your blog, since you posted the link on SCS. Hope to meet you sometime! I was thinking about going to the get together tomorrow, but think I have way too much stash anyway and will just stay home and stitch and watch football. I love your sampler - I joined the "Me, Myself, and I" Neighborhood Round Robin blog, and will be planning and stitching my own. I think I'm going to do a mountain village and use houses from various designers. I"ve added your blog to my site and to google reader, so I'll keep in touch.

I love your additions! The trees and pets are perfect. I am continually impressed with how well this is coming out. I don't have a designing bone in my body.
