Friday Night

Backyard Flower

Thanks for your comments on the last post. Susan, I promise to post another recipe from "Dishes Men Like" sometime soon. Take a peek at Noodle Goulash in the sidebar if you want to see one of them.

This is one of those Friday evenings that I can only say I'm so grateful it's Friday, and that tomorrow I don't have to get up at the crack of dawn.

No stitching done yet, but I'm sure to get to some soon.

What a beautiful flower, the color is gorgeous. Hope you had an enjoyable Friday evening, and you enjoyed being able to sleep in. There seem to be an awful lot of weeks like that lately for some reason, by Friday everyone is just drained. I enjoyed the cookie book you showed, I like older cookbooks like that. I don't do much cooking anymore, but I enjoy the pictures and the simpler style receipes so many of them had. I'll bet a lot of the ones in Dishes Men Like would be good ones in the cooler weather. Ones like goulosh and chili are perfect in the fall and winter.
