Progress has been made!

I hadn't snapped a picture of this piece since last summer. I have made some progress, although not near as much as I would like to make! I did manage to work on it a bit this week, if only for one hour total. I guess it's one stitch at a time.

My goal is to finish her by the end of the summer. We'll see how that goes.

We made it.

Our daughter L. got married on Saturday. I tried to upload some photos here yesterday but couldn't manage it at all. Here's one of the two of them enjoying the reception.

The weather was beautiful that day, hitting around 74 degrees with no wind. The following day the weather was not so good with a bit of rain and a cold temperature, so we really lucked out. The entire ceremony and reception were outdoors.

I still feel like I've been hit by a truck as the whole thing took so much energy for so many months. It was worth it, of course!

We now have a new son-in-law, and we adore him. It's a great feeling.
